Overview
Notica is a privacy-first meeting notes application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy
Policy explains how Notica handles your data — the short version is: we don't collect it.
Data Collection
Notica does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data —
including meeting recordings, transcriptions, summaries, and AI-generated content — is processed and stored
entirely on your device.

- No data is sent to any server, cloud, or third party
On-Device Processing
All AI features — including speech-to-text transcription, meeting summarization, and the AI chat assistant —
run entirely on your iPhone using local machine learning models. No internet connection is required to use any
feature of Notica. Your meeting content never leaves your device.
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using the app's sandboxed storage. This includes:
- Audio recordings
- Meeting transcriptions
- AI-generated summaries and notes
- Chat conversations with the AI assistant
- App preferences and settings
You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete individual meetings or all data directly
within the app. Uninstalling Notica will permanently remove all associated data from your device.
Third-Party Services
Notica does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services. There are no external APIs, analytics
platforms, advertising networks, or cloud services involved in the operation of this app.
Microphone Access
Notica requests microphone access solely to record meetings. Audio is captured and stored locally on your
device. It is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared. You can revoke microphone access at any time through your
iPhone's Settings.
Children's Privacy
Notica does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since Notica does not collect
any personal data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over deletion:
- Delete individual meetings from within the app
- Delete all data using the "Delete All Data" option in Settings
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
There is no server-side data to request deletion of, because no data ever leaves your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated
revision date. Since Notica does not collect contact information, we encourage you to review this page
periodically.

Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Notica ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
License
Notica grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and
professional purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The App is
licensed, not sold, to you.
Pricing
Notica is available as a free download from the Apple App Store, which includes all on-device
AI features. Optional auto-renewing subscription plans — AI Plus ($6.99/month) and AI Pro ($16.99/month) —
are available for access to cloud AI models. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID account. They
auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage
and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Description of Service
Notica is a meeting notes application that allows you to:
- Record audio from meetings and conversations
- Transcribe audio to text using on-device AI models
- Generate meeting summaries with AI, processed locally on your device
- Chat with an AI assistant about your meeting content
All processing occurs entirely on your device. No internet connection is required to use any feature.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Obtain necessary consent before recording conversations, as required by your local jurisdiction
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
Recording Consent
Many jurisdictions require the consent of one or all parties before a conversation can be recorded. It is your
sole responsibility to understand and comply with the recording laws in your jurisdiction. Notica is a tool —
how you use it is your responsibility.
Your Data
All data created by the App — recordings, transcriptions, summaries, and chat history — is stored locally on
your device. Notica does not access, collect, or transmit your data. You are solely responsible for managing and
backing up your data.
AI-Generated Content
Transcriptions, summaries, and AI chat responses are generated by on-device machine learning models. While we
strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should review and verify
AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions. Notica is not liable for any errors or
omissions in AI-generated content.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Notica and is protected by
copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content you create using the App (recordings, notes, etc.)
remains your property.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied,
including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and
non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly,
or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the
App at any time without notice. These Terms will remain in effect until terminated by either party.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision
date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law
principles.
